Children are given space after school to recuperate under the sea, eat some fruit, do homework and play with each other for a while.
Extracurricular care at Kidz Ahoy in Lelystad
Welcome to BSO The Sluiskade, the place where children aged 4 to 13 can relax, play and explore after school!
With us, they plop down below sea level to recover for a while, grab a piece of fruit, do homework or just enjoy playing with friends.
BSO the Sluiskade
Location: O.B.S. The Lock – Binnendijk 198
Age: 4 to 13 years old
Children attending classes at O.B.S. De Sluis are cared for after school at De Sluiskade. We also offer pre-school care at the same location.
During preschool, children can enjoy a communal breakfast so that they can start their school day in the morning
relaxed. Afterwards, our pedagogical staff safely take the children to their own classrooms.

BSO the Sluiskade
On August 28, 2016 Kidz Ahoy opened BSO ‘de Sluiskade’, located in Public Primary School de Sluis in Lelystad Haven. After almost a year on course, BSO de Sluiskade expanded in September 2017.
There is now room for 50 children at BSO de Sluiskade. The pre-school care is also located in Public Primary School the Sluis. Children who attend elementary school de Sluis can also receive pre-school care.

What makes BSO de Sluiskade unique is the extensive sports and games program during the vacations. Even on normal school days, the BSO offers a variety of “do-activities,” ranging from crafts to making healthy treats that the children get to eat themselves.
